The God Gap
At Res Publica 2004, there is a link to a story that looks interesting. The Boston Globe is running a piece on how you cannot ignore the fact that America is a religious country, and the democrats are having to deal with that reality.
Here is a piece: To become a majority party, Democrats have to build stronger ties of support among poor white Protestants in the South and border states, urban Catholics in the Midwestern ones, and Hispanic immigrants in the West.
