Forgiveness
In the Lord's Prayer, we pray: Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.
There has been an interesting set of discussions on this topic at three different blogs the last few days. It seems to have started when Amy Wellborn commented on something Mark Shea said, and began this long discussion on her blog:
Then over at Mark Shea's blog, the discussion continued. Scroll down to : Shea here. Apparently, unconditional forgivenness is Satanic
Then at Disputations, they also began discussing it: Forgive Your Neighbor's Injustice
Amazing how many nuances people can put on forgiveness....but these discussions have a lot of good to read about.
