After the excellent explanation of why politicians who are at major odds with church teachings should not receive communion written by Archbishop Myers, the governor of New Jersey announced he would not "publicly seek to receive communion."

It would be even nicer if he would consider why he is basically excommunicated and decide if his political views are really worth being separated from Jesus, in my opinion, but it is nice to see a bishop step out in authority and then one of his flock actually respond to that authority.
