Knitting a Conundrum

Little miracles - yes, they happen all the time!

Friday, the church secretary was having one of those
days where she had too many things to do and not enough
of herself to go around. I went to pick up some signs
at a local shop for the church for her. The store was
near a notoriously bad intersection, and I was going to
have to come out of the parking lot and cross three
lanes of traffic to get into my turn lane. I thought I
would have to take a right turn and go a couple of
blocks before I could turn into the proper lane, but it
just so happens that as I was pulling out there was
absolutely no traffic and I crossed into my turn lane
with absolutely no problem. This is one of those places
that this never ever happens. I was properly impressed!

Not a big little miracle, and maybe just luck, but I
said a grateful prayer of thanks for the unexpected
break and went happily back to the church.

The truth is, if we open our eyes and hearts to God, we
will find his hand (sometimes through the saints,
sometimes I suspect our guardian angels) in things on
the little level we never expected!
